Dynamite Prayer: A 28 Day Experiment, written by Rosario Picardo and Sue Nilson Kibbey and released by Invite Press in August 2022, has been a key resource to help one congregation bring new life to their community.
Like many congregations, Chester United Methodist Church has struggled to remain positive in the face of a loss in Sunday worship post-COVID. Rather than become discouraged, however, they turned to prayer. As they spent time in Dynamite Prayer, the pastor and key lay leaders began to see a new vision for their community using the one key asset they had: their land.
